Literally the best duck I’ve ever had! It was so amazing I went back the very next day and had it again. Seems excessive, but try it and you’ll understand. I was skeptical of the portions until the food came out and I ended up having to take home leftovers. The prices were great too. We got two cocktails, two very full entrees, an appetizer, and a dessert to take home for approximately 120. Not bad at all for a fine dining experience! I’ve recommended it to friends who have gone and loved it as well. Jonathan’s is a hidden gem and my new favorite place.

Jonathan’s restaurant is by far the best place to go for dinner in the valley! My wife and I went for our anniversary dinner and the meal was out of this world. I love the atmosphere in the place, and the view you have of the lake from either the dining room or their outside deck is an added bonus. The staff was extremely helpful giving recommendations and helping us feel comfortable. But the meal itself is what will keep us coming back for more. The flavors were incredible, the portions are very generous (even had leftovers), and the presentation gave it that extra touch of class! We had to try one of the homemade desserts, even though we could barely make room, but it was so delicious and worth it. I can’t wait to go back to our favorite spot. Check them out if you’re anywhere close, you won’t be disappointed.

We had our wedding at Jonathan’s and we couldn’t be more happier. The atmosphere was perfect overlooking the lake. Jonathan was there to accommodate and make sure no uninvited guest arrived ( being a Friday night and the upstairs deck was open). We had a food station with salmon, bang bang shrimp, turkey sliders, shrimp , lamb pops and fresh homemade chips ) with live music. The food was amazing as always! Chef Wendy did an amazing job as well as the rest of the staff. George was an amazing bartender as always! I highly recommend Jonathan’s for any occasion. You won’t be disappointed!

My wife and I stopped here for the first time. Our initial impression upon entering the building was that it had really neat architecture. The restaurant is on the first floor. When you enter, walk straight down the hall and it is on the right. Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted very quickly and in an extremely friendly manner. The gentleman took our coats and we were quickly seated. The inside of the restaurant is very cozy and romantic. We did notice that there is a large artwork picture of Kramer from Seinfeld above the fireplace, which was pretty neat. There is also a very large window facing River Street which gives you a very nice view when eating. We were quickly greeted by our waitress in a friendly, welcoming manner. While waiting for our dinner, we were provided fresh bread and butter. The bread was delicious. For appetizers, my wife and I both got the Colossal crab with butter and Old Bay. It was delicious. For our main meals, my wife had gotten the crab cake and I had gone the filet mignon. My wife said that her crab cake was extremely tasty and well prepared with plenty of crab and very little filler. My filet was done perfectly. It was seasoned to perfection, and very moist and tender. I've been trying to find a restaurant who can cook a filet like another local restaurant which we love. Until this time, no one has even come close. I would rate Jonathan's filet right on par with this other local restaurant. The dinners came with a choice of potato. My wife had gotten the baked potato which was delicious and I had gotten the steak fries which were also delicious. They were a little crunchy on the outside but soft and moist on the inside. The meals also came with a vegetable, which were grilled mixed vegetables. They were cooked and seasoned perfectly. Overall, the owner and workers of Jonathan's should be very proud because they have provided an excellent dining experience. We will definitely be back! Also, as a side note, you can park in the parking lot to the left of the restaurant even though it says permit parking only. The worker said it was okay to park there. I had the pleasure of dining here a week ago with my husband and from start to finish it was one of the best meals I ever had. The wine selection is excellent and the pours are SUPER generous. I started with the House Salad, which was perfectly dressed and my husband had the Truffled Cream of Mushroom soup (sooo good). My entree was the Honey glazed duck (a new favorite) and husband's was the Crab Cakes - best either of us ever tasted! We kept dessert simple with the Flourless Chocolate Cake, which was basically a decadent piece of fudge - the perfect ending to our meal. We cannot wait to come back!

I threw my best friend an engagement party last month upstairs & couldn’t have asked for a better place. The food, the service & the space were all perfect. I highly recommend Jonathan’s for any event, catering needs or even just a night out for dinner!

I recently ate at Jonathan’s and I had nothing but a great experience. From the service to the excellent wine selection, my husband and I were pleased. I had the crab cakes and there was so much crab in them! My husband had the filet and it was juicy and cooked to perfection. My husband typically doesn’t order steak out with the fear of the wrong temperature but he was very satisfied and cannot wait to return. Service was fast and everyone was very kind. Can’t wait to come back!

I recently held my baby shower at Jonathan’s and everything from the service to the food was top tier. I worked with Wendy, chef, to plan the brunch menu for my shower. She provided me with different brunch ideas and helped me choose what I would like to serve my guests. I had called and asked a few questions about bar options to include as well. Going into the event, which we held in the main dining and had the entire bar area available to us, we were able to decorate and use the space to our needs. Service was great - Jonathan routinely checked in with me to make sure everything was going well, George crushed it behind the bar and our server Sarah was very attentive to guests and helpful when we were setting up and breaking down the event. Pricing was great and we weren’t left wanting more. I would definitely recommend hosting an event here. GREAT experience!
